Combining A Love of Music with the Business of Music

Music marketing, promotion, technology, law and business classes introduce students who love music to a diverse field of career opportunities in the music industry.

Give A Note recognized music educator, Dr. Warren Mize as one of our first Music Education Innovators Award recipients in 2018 for his successful music biz program at East Central High School (ECHS) in San Antonio.  Non-traditional music curriculum does not replace vitally important music ensemble programs, quite the opposite, these programs encourage more students to get involved with music in school.

From July 6-8, 2021 at the University of Texas San Antonio, Yamaha will sponsor the first Music Business Education Launchpad – A Summer Institute for Music Educators with an impressive list of expert educators in the field of Music Business and Entrepreneurship from across the nation.
